I LOVE LENTILS

Had lentils for lunch today they are so delicious and you know they are very good for you you really need to add them to the pantry so when you don't know what to cook put up a pot of lentils. Not only are they good for you but really cheap, about 79 cents a bag and there are lots of different ones the one I use is the brown lentil. I make it as a soup with celey carrots and onion and a large can of diced tomatoes don't forget the water and or chicken broth. i usually cook it all day or put it in the crock pot and let it cook by itself....You will love it....you can have it with rice or pasta or by itself.

COLONOSCOPY OVER

Yay it's over all went well. I thought it was hard not eating but that was easy compared to the prep especially at 3am had to get up and drink another liter of that stuff.

update on endoscopy

Ok so today the place calls where I'm going to have endoscopy done and they said I have to pay 400.00 out of pocket I never had to pay anything before that sounds crazy so I cancelled endoscopy and am just having colonoscopy because that they say is preventive and it is 100 percent covered, but because endoscopy is medical that's why I have to pay. I think that is INSANE

JUST HAD MY LAST MEAL

Going for a colonoscopy and endoscopy in the morning. FIRST TIME EVER Just a little scary. I think one of the worse parts for me so far is fasting. Although I haven't taking that drink yet. That's at 5pm tonight it's going to be a long night. I have to be on clear liquids all day and 5pm take my first drink then wake up at 3am and take another drink then no liquids after 4am. I am scheduled for 9am tomorrow. I will keep you posted on how it goes. I know this something that has to be done but I gotta say it's not what I want to do.

At first I would just boil it and make a garlic sauce which is really good, but then I started to do a few different things with it to experiment. I mashed it it's like sticky mashed potatoes. IT'S TIME

I need to get back on track here. I feel like all I been doing is eating one delicious thing after another. yes food is wonderful, but too much of a good thing is no good. We know as lupies we have to keep our sugar intake to a minimum and of course need to eat fresh fruits and veges and lots of healthy stuff. I'm going to try to get back on track with eating healthy and losing some weight. I know when I eat right and don't overindulge then I feel better. So that's my plan and I also have to exercise. That's a tough one but I'm going to have to do something so encourage me PLEASE!!!!!!

Rain Rain you're leaving now? The clouds are parting, as I say "Ciao" Can't you leave faster... don't you know how? Get out of my town, I'm tired of my joints screaming "OW!"
Sun Sun your back again? I have not seen you since I cannot remember when! But wait... Now I cannot go outside until the day's end! Or my lupus will flare, and a rash will begin! OH when you're a lupie, you can NEVER WIN!
